Dos nuevos hongos para la isla de Fuerteventura
Summary Two new fungi from the island of Fuerteventura. Since 2004 the Sociedad Micológica de Gran Canaria started a programme of work on the island of Fuerteventura to deepen the insular fungal biota and to publicize the importance of fungi in the natural environment of the island and for the Fuerteventura´s and the canary society. Fuerteventura´s mycological tradition comes from the time of the "majos" and the "criadas" , hypogeous fungi of the genus Terfezia spp., whose appearance in spring fills the fields of the island of collectors in search of these desert truffles. However, there are other fungi belonging to other groups that are also important as they are present in ecosystems like the "jables", or in the pine trees forest of the center of the island, from the point of view of the natural environment from Fuerteventura they are very exotic. This article presents two new species for the island of Fuerteventura, one of them new to Canary Islands and some comments are made about the number of fungal species that live on the island and other fungi which are being in studio nowadays. Key words: Biodiversity, Coprinus, Fuerteventura island, fungi, Inonotus.
